For over a decade Holdin’ Court have been running independent, grassroots Hip-Hop, Funk and Soul events in the South East and London.
Currently, as part of a series, they will be releasing exclusive mixes for Gold Dust by associated members of their collective. Second up is DJ O.P.1
DJ O.P.1 is a party rocking turntablist, who’s roots are in hip-hop but is never shy of digging into a crate of any genre. If it’s good music he’ll play it.
Over his career, he’s DJ’d up and down the country, supporting lots of big names including Grandmaster Flash, Pharaoh Minch, R.A the Rugged Man, Dom Letts, Goldie Looking Chain as well as being the DJ for Leeds rapper ExP.
He’s featured several times on BBC’s Introducing and is a regular fixture at venues, shows and festivals. Check him out, he’s dope!
